College Counseling

Welcome to the Heritage College Bound Process!

My goal when coming to Heritage was to bring my independent college counseling mentality, resources, and experiences so students here reap the benefits of a private counselor but get access to them throughout every piece of their academic journey. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and have limitless goal, so my goal and purpose on campus is to guide each student on their independent strategy. We start the college bound foundation in 9th grade, focusing on goal setting and academic planning. Sophomore year explores student aptitude and interests, starting the college overview. Junior year really kick starts the college application process with a “Business and Computer Readiness” college prep course, “College Tour Interim” trip, “Junior College Bound Day”, standardized testing opportunities and test prep, and narrowing college selection. Senior year starts in the summer with 3 Summer Workshops and CCC open hours to focus on organizing and completing college applications. It continues through college choice and enrollment decisions with continuous support, feedback, resources, financial aid and scholarship guidance, and selection support.

Whatever path your student is on, they will be supported and guided every step of the way.
