Upper School includes Ninth through Twelfth Grades for four of the most exciting, challenging, and growth-filled years at The Heritage School. In support of the School’s mission — mind, body, spirit, and camaraderie — the Upper School prepares students for college and life, focusing on leadership development and service through our varied academic offerings as well as Interim, advisory, athletics, our much loved Jubilee, and shared experiences and curriculum enhancement both on and off campus.
Beyond a rigorous yet flexible curriculum - to include 21 Advanced Placement courses and counting - and with teachers and advisors who are as much collaborators as educators, our students stretch themselves personally and intellectually. Opportunities include mentoring younger students, a student-run Honor Council, a 13-sport Athletic program, and community-focused, character-building extracurriculars like Student Government, Key Club, and more. Our graduates are independent thinkers and creative problem solvers who are consistently accepted to the right school for them, whether that’s a state university, liberal arts college, service academy, or a specialized art school.
