Jubilee

The third week of May is one of the most special times at The Heritage School. Students look forward to it. Faculty and staff plan around it. Parents mark it on their calendars.

In fact, if you are visiting the campus that week, just follow the sound of cheering, music, and laughter, and you’ll find most of the School there.

From Monday through Friday, 5th through 12th Grade students compete on combined teams captained by Upper School students across a number of athletic, artistic, and academic events — did we mention there’s a world-class scavenger hunt? — culminating in “Glass Hill,” a you-have-to-see-it-to-believe-it tradition begun with the founding of the School.

Beyond being flat-out fun and joyful, Jubilee promotes school pride and camaraderie, as well as leadership opportunities for Upper School students.

There is a second Jubilee Week for younger students, as well. This takes place during the final week of May.
